11th National Conference on Disability & National Abilympics Competition: Shaping an Inclusive Future

Date: December 6-7, 2024

Theme: IMPACT – Inclusive Measures for Promoting Accessibility, Collaboration, and Transformation

The 11thNational Conference on Disability (NCD) and 11th National Abilympics Competition is set to take place on December 6-7, 2024, in Sarthak Global Resource center, Sector 45, Gurugram Haryana. Organized by Sarthak Educational Trust and the NationalAbilympics Association of India (NAAI), this landmark event will bring together thought leaders, corporates, policymakers, advocates, and innovators to advance disability inclusion and empowerment under the theme IMPACT: Inclusive Measures for Promoting Accessibility, Collaboration, and Transformation.

Over the years, this conference has been graced by many esteemed dignitaries, including Hon'ble Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, who inaugurated Sarthak’s Global Resource Center in Gurugram last year and Late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Hon'ble former President of India. These gatherings have played a crucial role in shaping disability policies and creating awareness across the nation. This year’s event builds upon notable milestones such as the launch of Sarthak’s Zero Coupon Zero Principal IPO and our recognition by Hon'ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu. We stand at the threshold of creating a lasting impact for persons with disabilities (PwDs) across India.

The panels at this year’s conference promise to be insightful and transformative. The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Panel will explore how businesses can drive disability inclusion and bridge the gap between profit and purpose. The Pathways to Employment session will focus on fostering inclusive workspaces, discussing how corporate participation can lead to meaningful employment opportunities for PwDs. Additionally, the Tech-Enabled Solutions Panel will highlight innovations like CapSarathi, RozgarSarathi, and GyanSarathi, which are not only transforming local landscapes but are also setting global benchmarks in accessibility and empowerment.

Day two will feature the highly anticipated National Abilympics Showcase, where PwDs will demonstrate their skills in various competitions, showing that talent knows no bounds. The Early Intervention Panel will discuss strategies to nurture potential from the start, and the Tech4Good Panel will bring together top innovators from IITs and IIMs to discuss the role of technology in advancing disability solutions.

This year’s conference is more than just an event—it’s a movement toward creating a future where accessibility, collaboration, and transformation pave the way for true inclusion. Join us as we celebrate achievements, share ideas, and collaborate for a better, more inclusive tomorrow!
